Plain-English terms for a simple service: we build, host and maintain your website for one flat monthly rate, and you can leave whenever you want.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
ChargeWeb ("ChargeWeb", "we", "us") provides done-for-you websites for septic, plumbing and other trade contractors, together with hosting, lead capture, online booking, an AI chat receptionist, a client portal and ongoing content updates (the "Service").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between us and the business or person that signs up ("you", "Client"). By creating an account, completing the intake, or accepting a service agreement you agree to these Terms. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
Agencies that use ChargeWeb to serve their own clients are also bound by these Terms and are responsible for their clients' compliance.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and operating a lawful business. You agree to give accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the people you invite to it.
3. Your website and the information you provide
We build your website from the facts you give us in the intake (or from your existing website if you ask us to import it). You confirm that everything you provide — business name, services, service areas, licenses, prices, photos, logos and reviews — is accurate, belongs to you or is used with permission, and does not infringe anyone's rights.
We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to draft layouts and text. We design these tools not to invent facts, but you are responsible for reviewing your site before launch and telling us about anything that is wrong. We do not claim licenses, certifications, guarantees or reviews on your behalf unless you supply them.
You must not use the Service for unlawful, misleading, hateful or deceptive content, spam, or anything that violates advertising, consumer-protection or licensing rules in your area.
4. Plans, pricing and billing
The Service is a subscription with no setup fee. Current plans are:
- Starter: $99/month or $990/year
- Growth: $199/month or $1,990/year
- Pro Retainer: $299/month or $2,990/year
Annual plans are billed upfront at ten times the monthly price (two months free). Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect on your plan.
If a payment fails we may retry it and, after notice, pause your site until the balance is paid.
5. Launch guarantee and money-back guarantee
Zero setup fee. Live in 48 hours or your first month is on us. The 48-hour window starts once we have received your completed intake and the information we need to build your site; delays caused by missing information or third-party domain providers are excluded.
If your site is not live within 48 hours, or you are not happy with the design, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment by contacting contact@chargeweb.site. The guarantee applies once per business, to new subscriptions only.
6. Cancellation, pausing and plan changes
There is no long-term contract. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your client portal or by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; seasonal pauses require 30 days' notice. Except under the money-back guarantee, payments already made are non-refundable, including unused time on annual plans, unless the law requires otherwise.
We may suspend or end the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service unlawfully. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
7. Content updates and support
Each plan includes the monthly content updates listed on our pricing page. Updates cover changes to existing text, photos, prices and services; new features, redesigns or extra pages beyond your plan may be quoted separately. Unused updates do not roll over.
8. Domains and ownership
You own your domain 100%. We transfer it free if you ever leave. Your domain is registered in your name or transferred to you on request, and we help with DNS transfer at no charge if you leave.
You own your business content (text, photos, logos and the leads your site collects). We own the ChargeWeb platform, templates, design system, software and tools. While you subscribe, we give you a licence to use the website design we build for you; if you leave, we will provide an export of your site content.
9. Leads, bookings, email and the AI receptionist
Your site collects enquiries, quote requests and bookings from your customers and sends them to you, for example by email. You are responsible for responding to your customers, honouring bookings, and complying with laws that apply to how you contact them (such as consent rules for calls, texts and marketing email).
The AI chat receptionist answers visitor questions using only the business facts in your profile and does not quote prices or make promises on your behalf. It can still make mistakes, so it is not a substitute for your own confirmation of jobs, prices or schedules.
We rely on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and AI. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, and we are not responsible for missed leads caused by outages, spam filters or incorrect contact details.
10. Results and disclaimers
Calculators, examples and projections on our website are illustrative estimates, not promises. We do not guarantee any number of visitors, leads, bookings, search rankings or revenue. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you supply or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the information your customers submit through your website. For that customer information, you are the business responsible for it and we process it on your behalf.
13. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in your portal at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are the entire agreement between us about the Service, together with any signed service agreement (which takes priority if they conflict). If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
